The original design of the Tuzla emblem was adopted in 1959, with minor differences to the current design. It has been used in various colour combinations. It included in the chief the years "950 – 1950" and the name Tuzla in the central part of the ribbon in the base. It also had more abundant flames in the dish, specified to 16 flame tongues.
